On another note...Im soooo poor

So...last entry was at xmas, hope everyone had a brilliant xmas and new year

Had a bad start to 2008, very few people know why but im ok now and hoping things will get alot better soon

Hubby has started updating his xanga again which i think is brilliant, it gives me something to read and lets me know what hes thinking sometimes...people who know Ray well knows hes a man of few words which i find very annoying coz i luuuurve to chat  Now that we're married he chats less than when we were dating and when we were engaged  ...the most hes chatted to me was when we were first getting to know each other waaaay back in the summer of 2005! Anyway...hubby was complaining that i dont update as often and if i dont then he wont, so seeing as i have spare time and hes snoring away on the sofa in front of the tv... i will update.

Firstly...Chinese New Year is nearly upon us and theres no advantages anymore when married, we are almost on the brink of bankruptcy...we have to give lai see to kids and give money to the parents...

Secondly...Valentines Day! I usually love this day but i know Ray is broke from chinese new year and so am i...so not expecting anything that brilliant. This year i have asked Ray to master up a 3 course meal for me at home...im not sure what hes gonna come up with as he doesnt really know his way around the ktichen and hopefully he wont make a mess that i would have to clean up  Im also not sure what to get Ray...he did mention something about anti wrinkle cream tho hehe   ...

Father in law left for HK on tuesday so again we have the whole house to ourselves for about 5/6 weeks which is always nice

Will have to start saving up money soon for the trip to HK in november, the new house in hk will be finished so we have to go back for the ceremony thing and also Lam Tsuen festival that Ray has been looking forward to. Heres good luck to me in saving money hehe

Whilst the in-laws are away, i decided to do some baking as i havent done any in a long time since the 'dan tats' (egg tarts)...this time i decided to do 'po tats' (portuguese egg tarts).

I think they were a great success but definately have to make the pastry yourself, i tried making it with ready made puff pastry but it just wasnt the same. I found making Portuguese egg tarts easier than making normal Egg tarts. Hubby was the 'white mouse' and had to try them for me before i gave anyone else any, and he luuuurved them hehe

Father in-law is back for xmas but will be going back to HK again in Jan...so more baking will be happening, what shall i make next time...

Its been over a month since i got married...thanks to all the people who made it to the ceremony and wedding banquets.

Quite a few people have asked me what it feels like and if its any different, well...to be honest it isnt that different, its just that you call the guy you married hubby instead of bf...seriously...it sounds weird when i say 'husband' or 'lo gung' in a conversation. Another thing thats different is you have to live with this husband everyday now whereas before it was occassionally, so now i have to babysit Ray everyday

Rays parents have gone HK so recently me and Ray have had the house to ourselves which is nice, ive realised i miss cooking, so ive enjoyed myself cooking dishes for my husband  Ive also decided to do some baking next weekend...ive missed baking too!
